OKTOBERFEST 2006

A nice gathering of members made it out to Pat Madden's Unvatican Observatory in Union Parish to enjoy an evening of German "Oktoberfest" dishes and a near perfect sky for stargazing.  Brien Dunn's sauerkraut dish was fantastic.  After dinner we all went outside to get in some viewing.  We were able to get several photos of some new objects along with some old favorites.  Below are some photos.  A special thanks to Pat Madden for hosting us.  We all had a great time.
