Attached are pictures of my completed SkyView Pro goto conversion for you to
post on the website. The conversion was accomplished with a Meade #492 motor
kit, Autostar 497 computer controller, Stefan Koenigsheim's Goto4All bracket
kit (www.goto4all.de), and the assistance of Christopher Erickson's
Roboscope Yahoo! discussion group
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/RoboScope/). Initial goto's are close enough
that the target is visible in the finder scope but not in the eyepiece. Work
on eliminating mechanical play in each axis drive train is ongoing and
should result in improved accuracy.
